 M. Uğur Terzioğlu( 65- Chairman)
Educated at Robert College( US University in Istanbul) 1954. BA from Pacific Institute- California 1956. Running family business 1956-1960. (Soap- olive oil- cotton- tobacco factories). 1960- 1962 Military Service. Between 1963- 1970 General manager of agricultural factory. 1971 moved to Rome- Italy and formed California based FILMCENTRE GROUP handling international salses of movies for Turkey- Greece- M. East- Far East- Holland. 1986 moved back to Istanbul as General Coordinator ASTALDI SpA Italian Construction Company which signed 1.1 Billion dollar contract to build Highway and Tunnels / Viaducs. Presently keeps this post. He has been involved in Politics 1956-1960 head of “Young Democratic Party” and 1963- 1970 with the former Justice Party. He also runs two companies one is the exibition – co. owned 45 theatres) and one distribution company releasing theatrical and television movies.
He has collobrated with Chase Manhattan Bank to finalize the ASTALDI- TREASURY syndications as well as with AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL Banking. Has one son Mustafa(spose-Fatos), who is a constructor with two grand children,Melis and Murat. Married to Cavidan. Speaks English – Italian. Has been awarded DIAMOND OF MERIT BY MPAA and CHEVALIER OF FRANCE- Founder of American Chamber of Commerce- former Chairman and co-chairman presently member of the Board and Chairman of AmCham Committee. He is also member of ITALIAN and BRITISH Chamber of Commerces.
